Sunday Worship and Sunday School begin at 10 a.m. Second Congregational Church currently has about 290 members, and the average weekly attendance for 2006 was 82. The church uses both the Pilgrim Hymnal and the New Century Hymnal. The United Church of Christ Worship book is used for special services and other rites of passage. Choirs for both adults and children liven up the services as do junior and senior sacred dance ensembles. The church's stained glass windows were recently restored after a successful capital campaign.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month, and baptisms can be scheduled through the pastor and the Board of Deacons. Baptisms are traditionally celebrated during regular worship services.
Several special services are offered during the course of the year, including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Day and All Saints' Day.
Vesper services are offered in the Barbara Rohrbach Memorial Chapel during the liturgical seasons of Advent and Lent. Weddings, arranged at the discretion of the pastor, take place in the Chapel and main sanctuary.
